Brad Simpson charged with wife Suzanne’s murder on Thursday

SAN ANTONIO – Olmos Park police and the Texas Department of Public Safety updated the public with new developments in the case of Suzanne Clark Simpson on Friday, signaling her body is still missing.

Barton Simpson, Suzanne Clark Simpson’s brother-in-law, spoke to the media for the first time since her disappearance last month. His message was directed toward his brother, Brad Simpson, who has been charged with murder.

“(It’s) always important to do what is right, especially when it is the most difficult,” Barton Simpson said.

Suzanne Clark Simpson was reported missing on Oct. 7. The day before, she and Brad Simpson had been seen by locals fighting at The Argyle, an Alamo Heights dinner club.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit for Brad Simpson, a neighbor had seen a physical altercation between the couple on Oct. 6.
