(25News Now) – It’s just three weeks away.
After a disappointing 5-7 season last season, Bret Bielema and the rest of the Illinois football team are counting down the days until they get on the field August 29th for the season opener against Eastern Illinois.
Illinois will run a lot of their offense through their run game, led by the two-headed monster in junior Josh McCray, and sophomore Kaden Feagin.
Illinois begins Big Ten Conference play on the road at Nebraska September 20th.
