IDEA Public Schools picks Dr. Annette Macias [Video]

IDEA Public Schools has appointed Dr. Annette Macias as the executive director for the Permian Basin Region, according to a press release from IDEA Public Schools. 

The release further stated that Dr. Macias is a Permian Basin native and holds a Ph.D. in education leadership policy from Texas Tech University. She has a 27-year career that includes roles such as executive director for school improvement, principal and bilingual teacher. 

IDEA Public Schools launched its Permian Basin Region in 2020 and serves students at its two campuses, IDEA Travis Academy and College Preparatory and IDEA Yukon Academy and College Preparatory.
