After Hurricane Helene wiped out entire towns and villages, many were left without homes or belongings. However, a charity has stepped in to provide victims of Hurricane Helene with a special gift this Christmas.

As Christmas rolls around, being without a home and belongings can turn the usually festive occasion into something rather depressing. However, volunteers working with the National Mental Health Alliance have been building small homes.
These cabins, which measure 12 by 16 feet, are the perfect gift for the Hurricane Helene survivors this year. It gives them somewhere to call home, rest, and maybe have a little celebration or get-together. Many have been left without homes, with the residents of Swannanoa, being left with nothing.
