Huntsville invites residents to public meetings on affordable housing, community development, and fair housing.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The City of Huntsville is inviting residents to help shape the future of community development and affordable housing through a series of public forums scheduled for Dec. 10-11.
The City’s Community Development Department will host three sessions to gather input from residents about their priorities for affordable housing and fair housing issues. This input will inform the development of the City’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan and Fair Housing Study.
The public is encouraged to attend the following meetings:
- Tuesday, Dec. 10, 6 p.m. at Seminole Service Center, 212 Seminole Drive SW
- Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1 p.m. at Downtown Public Library, 915 Monroe Street
- Wednesday, Dec. 11, 6 p.m. at Showers Recreation Center, 4600 Blue Spring Road
