Huntsville will honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a parade hosted by the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. on Saturday, Jan. 18.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Get ready for a celebration as the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. hosts its Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration parade on Saturday, Jan. 18!
The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) will assist with traffic management during this event, which is set to begin at noon and end around 2 p.m.
Officers will be stationed along the parade route to ensure the safety of both participants and spectators while managing traffic flow in nearby areas.
To prepare for the parade, the intersection of Holmes Avenue and Church Street will close at 8:30 a.m. Additionally, Williams and Holmes avenues, along with Monroe, Church, and Wood streets, will close at 11:30 a.m.
