HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville Police Department is inviting the community to a family fun night. This free event will be on Wednesday, August 28, from 5-7 p.m. at the Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center.
The night will feature an inflatable water slide, bounce house, and a children’s bicycle raffle. The evening will also offer free hamburgers and refreshments. People of all ages are free to attend.
“We like to host these community events because it gives the department an opportunity to meet our residents, get into the community and build relationships,” said Captain Tony McElyea. “Last month’s community event was a success and we’re hoping the momentum continues to build.”
