Hundreds pour into Park City for their first Bigfoot Festival [Video]

PARK CITY, Ky. (WBKO) – Bigfoot believers and skeptics of all ages, far and wide, gathered at Bell’s Tavern in Park City for their inaugural Bigfoot Festival on Saturday.

City Commissioner Mike Burgess said they, along with Cave City and Glasgow-Barren County Tourism, have been planning this event for about a year. Now, they finally saw their hard work pay off.

Burgess said by the end of the day, they were expecting anywhere from six to seven hundred total attendees, with a general consensus that it was a great day for the festival.

“Bigfoot is the hottest thing going right now, and it’s just a big deal to people, especially kids,” he said.

The Ceien couple traveled all the way from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They packed up their two dogs and camper and headed to Kentucky on Wednesday.

“We’re just having such a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful time,” Darlene Ceien said. …
