OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — We are just hours away from the polls closing across Oklahoma and with that, Election Day anxiety could be building.
No matter the party affiliation, many voters say they have anxiety and stress over what they have called the most important election in their lifetime.

“I think the not knowing, I think that the discourse on social media where people say things that they wouldn’t say to someone in person can be very triggering to people,” said Lorna Palmer, executive director with National Alliance on Mental Illness Oklahoma (NAMI).
Palmer encourages voters to unplug if it becomes too much.
