SARASOTA, Fla. (WFLA) — Ready or not, artificial intelligence is coming.
Sarasota County is trying to get out in front of it as the school board tries to make sure its rules keep up with the technology.
“Artificial intelligence is just a way for computers to try to think the way we do,” Artificial Intelligence Consultant Joey de Villa said. “Students could theoretically use AI to do their work because AI simply knows how to copy the way we write and it’s been fed all kinds of information.”
