ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) —Crisis Cleanup activated Hurricane Helene Cleanup Hotline for residents who need help cleaning up damage caused by Helene.

The phone number residents can call to get assistance with cleanup is (844)-965-1386. The hotline will remain open until Friday, Oct. 11.

According to Pinellas County Government, Hurricane Helene Cleanup Hotline will connect residents with volunteers from local relief organizations, community groups, and faith communities.

Organizations can help with things like:

All service is free, but not guaranteed, according to Pinellas County Government.

This hotline does not assist with social services like food, clothing, shelter, insurance, or questions about FEMA registration.

Volunteers work free of charge and provide equipment and tools they will need to help residents.
