Hotel Northland celebrates centennial anniversary with event supporting local homeless shelter [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – An iconic hotel in the heart of Green Bay is celebrating a century of being open while also supporting a homeless shelter in the community.

Hotel Northland commemorated 100 years with an exclusive event hosted by former Green Bay mayor Jim Schmitt.

Tickets went for $100 a person, with all proceeds going to New Community Shelter, which is also celebrating an anniversary. They recently marked 30 years of serving individuals through their emergency shelter program, meal program, and various other support services.
