Hollywood Casino brings back the only live poker room in Maine | Local News [Video]

BANGOR — The Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway has officially reopened its poker room after the pandemic forced it to shut down.

According to Hollywood Casino’s Director of Marketing Alton Buzzell, a lot of work was done to help bring the only live poker room in the state of Maine back to life.

“Prior to COVID, those who have played here before may remember this was also the Racebook, so we’ve taken that out so that required some work here structurally. Then things like making sure we have the right technology and the technology is the right piece for us.
