The Portland area will see clouds throughout the morning Thursday before “gradual clearing,” the National Weather Service says. The high temperature will be about 76 degrees Fahrenheit, a little cooler than recent days.
The dip will be short-lived. Friday’s high should be about 84 degrees, with a low overnight of 55.
The weekend also will be in the 80s – though just barely. Prognosticators now say Saturday will top out at 82 and Sunday at 80. Both days will offer plenty of sun.
Next week: the metro area might see rain Monday night and into Tuesday.
