Hero Dog Getting Help to ‘Save Grandpa’s Life’ Captured by Doorbell Cam [Video]

The internet was brought to tears after a doorbell camera captured the moment a dog heroically saved his grandpa who had fallen.

The footage from the doorbell camera shared in a December 27 TikTok video posted to the account @thisiskaiserr showed Kai the Doberman running out the front door and into the neighborhood street on a mission. He barked to see if any neighbor would notice and listen. It was the only thing he thought to do after his grandpa fell inside the home and was “unresponsive.”

Once his grandpa fell, Kai sprang into action. The text on the video explained that Kai somehow managed to open the round door handle, which let him go in and out. He would run outside barking for help but then go back inside to check on his grandpa. Kai continued until someone finally called police.
