TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Progress continues in the Vigo County Industrial Park as companies invest millions in development.
In total, two industries in development right now will bring nearly a thousand high-paying jobs to our community.
Work is well underway at both Amazon and Entek’s new facilities inside the industrial park.
The work at the new Amazon Distribution Center is almost done.
Workers are now just putting the finishing touches on the inside of the building.
The new Amazon building will help carry out the company’s last-mile service – focusing on delivery service to smaller communities.
It is expected to create 100 jobs and could 100 more during peak seasons.
Meanwhile, crews are hard at work at Entek Lithium Separators.
