Los Angeles County health officials are investigating a case of hepatitis A in an employee of a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Monterey Park, but no additional cases have been identified.
Based on the worker’s schedule and display of symptoms at work, health officials urged anyone who consumed food or beverages at the restaurant at 4000 Market Place between Nov. 13 and Nov. 22 to receive a hepatitis A vaccine if they are not already immune.
Patrons were also urged to monitor themselves for symptoms such as fever, weakness, fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), stomach pain, vomiting, dark urine, pale stools, and diarrhea.
