Description

The Parkinson’s Foundation makes life better for people with Parkinson’s disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. In everything we do, we build on the energy, experience, and passion of our global Parkinson’s community. 

The Helpline/Clinical Affairs Intern will help support our team and will work remotely with staff and volunteer leadership to support the Clinical Affairs and Helpline team in its efforts to improve access to expert Parkinson’s Disease care and information. This position will provide the intern with the opportunity to develop experience with constituent relationship management software, program support, and virtual contact center solutions.

Responsibilities

• Verify, update, and expand listings in the database used by PD Information Specialists in order to provide callers to the 1-800-473-4636 with referrals to local healthcare professionals and community resources
