Heading to northern Arizona? Check the radar [Video]

The National Weather Service in Flagstaff says Grand Canyon Village, Supai and Jacob Lake could see snow Saturday.

Scattered snow showers are expected for areas above 5,000 feet from Saturday to Sunday evening. Snowfall amounts from trace to 2″ could be seen in areas like Peach Springs, Grand Canyon Village, Supai and Prescott. 

NWS said with winter weather like this, people driving in the area should slow down, hikers should use caution on unpaved and untreated surfaces, and everyone should dress for the colder weather. 

Grand Canyon National Park posted on Facebook that just enough snow fell to make village roadways and trails slick. Especially for hikers planning on going into the canyon, foot traction and hiking poles are recommended.
