KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV)—Historically Black Colleges and University students have a chance to earn $5,000 and access career-building opportunities.

AT&T’s program, Rising Future Makers, is making its return for 2024.

Only 25 winners will receive mentorship from industry leaders, essential technology tools, career-building workshops in their chosen field of study, plus a $5,000 grant.

ICYMI: ELECTION GUIDE: What Missouri, Kansas voters need to know before heading to the polls

HBCU students have to submit a written or video entry explaining how they’re making a difference in their community.

Video recording entries are required to be between 30 to 60 seconds long. Written entries need to be between 150 to 500 words.

The deadline to apply is Saturday, Nov. 2. Winners will be notified by the end of November and invited to AT&T’s headquarters in Dallas for a kick-off celebration.
