Haunted attraction signs stolen [Video]

PEDRO, Ohio (WSAZ) – With less than two weeks until Halloween, spooky attractions are in the peak of their season.

Organizers at one attraction say a trickster has crossed a line that could potentially hurt their numbers.

Horror in the Holler is a haunted trail along Township Highway 140 East in Pedro, Ohio. It’s been in operation a few years.

Sierra Markel is the president of the Izaak Walton League of Lawrence County.

The haunted trail is a fundraiser for that organization.

She says within a few days last week, they had multiple signs advertising their location stolen. One was along state Route 93 a few miles away, and another was in Coal Grove.

“The one on 93 was worth about $120,” Markel said. “They were vinyl prints from Fast Signs in Ashland.”
