Hannaford first reported issues with their online services on Nov. 7, which was largely resolved nearly weeks later. It’s unclear whether this issue is related.
A spokesperson with Hannaford shared that the company was having technical issues with its website and app and that customers may temporarily experience “performance issues” with these services.
It was not clear whether this issue was a continuation of the previous technical problems or whether it was a new incident, and the specifics of the disruptions were not released.
Stores and pharmacies remained open and serving customers, the company shared.
The wait for services to be restored did not last long, however. A company spokesperson provided an update around 6 p.m. Saturday, stating that the app and website were apparently “back up and running.”
“We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate our customers’ continued patience and understanding,” the spokesperson said.
