Halloween store gives back to Phoenix Childrens Hospital this spooky season [Video]

PHOENIX (AZFamily)—It’s the first day of October, and Spirit Halloween is using this spooky season to do Something Good and give back to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Customers can use the code CARING24 at Central and West Valley locations to save 10% on their purchases and give 10% to Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s family-centered programs.

Colette Forcier, senior development officer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, said they rely on community support.

“All of that fundraising 100% comes right back to Phoenix Children’s and helps our child life program,” Forcier said. “That’s the specialists that are helping kids just be kids while they’re in the hospital. So bringing a lot of joy to Phoenix Children’s just by getting your costumes.”

The Child Life Program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital provides resources like animal-assisted art and music therapy to help ease the anxiety of kids and their families while in the hospital.
