Grey London is reported to have won the global creative account for Tourism Ireland.
Tourism Ireland, which has a marketing spend of €73m this year, is for obvious reasons seen as a highly prized account to land.
Adworld reports that Grey will be taking over the account after battling it out with Droga5 Dublin, part of Accenture Song.
Until now Publicis London had held the account for the last 13 years.
They first won the business in 2011 after taking over from BBH, Saatchi & Saatchi and JWT London, who had been the incumbent on the account since 2005.
During their time Publicis created a number of award-winning campaigns for Tourism Ireland.
Just this year they ran the “Fill Your Heart with Ireland” campaign featuring celebrities like Sharon Horgan from Bad Sisters, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson and Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, …
