GREGG Wallace seems to have been surprised by the timing of the BBC announcement about a probe into his alleged misconduct.
The news that the MasterChef show host is temporarily stepping down from his role went public today.
It came after MasterChef production company Banijay UK said complaints have been made this week in relation to “historical allegations” of misconduct from Gregg while on the show.
While Gregg must be aware that an investigation into his behaviour has been launched by Banijay UK, it looks like he not informed of the exact time frame that a statement would be released about it to the public.
