- Green Day has decided that instead of remastering its iconic third album, it will tear it down.
- Dookie Demastered is a set of 15 items each featuring one-ish track from the album.
- The items include a doorbell, a teddy bear and a wax cylinder.
30 years ago Green Day released its third album, Dookie. The album released on 1st February 1994 and featured what would become smash hits that still receive airplay to this day including Basket Case and When I Come Around.
The band did release a 30th Anniversary Box set for the album, but now it’s leaning full into the nostalgia of the 90s by demastering the tracks and placing them on items you wouldn’t expect.
Dookie Demastered is a collection of 15 items each featuring a track from the original album. The items and associated tracks include:
