Greater Indian Affairs Commission hold annual Dream Keepers Award Ceremony | [Video]

TULSA, Okla. — The City of Tulsa’s Greater Indian Affairs Commission held their annual Dream Keepers Award Ceremony on Tuesday night.

The ceremony celebrates Native Americans the Dream Keepers Award for their leadership in Tulsa and throughout their tribe.

11 people were awarded on Tuesday for how they keep their heritage and culture alive while making a difference within Tulsa.

The room was filled with family, friends, and colleagues coming to support those who are Native American and making a difference in the Tulsa community through their character ad public service.

The award is given to those who are 50 or older and have made an impact on the Native American community through historical or economic impact in the greater Tulsa area.

Previous Dream Keepers came back to support those wo were awarded this year.
