Great Maine Getaway underway after delays due to lightning [Video]

This year was the 40th annual Bike MS: Great Maine Getaway, and everything was business as usual after inclement weather forced the start time to be pushed back to 9 a.m.All routes start and finish at the University of New England’s Biddeford campus. The delayed start gave participants time to eat breakfast and catch up in one of the school’s dining halls.More than $350,000 was raised this year, surpassing the goal set by Bike MS.The money raised goes towards research for multiple sclerosis, a chronic disease affecting the nervous system.”If you don’t know anything about it, they get up, they don’t know.
