GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Last month FlannelJax’s, a Grand Rapids axe throwing venue, created a program to uplift the community around them by supporting local nonprofits.
The FlannelJax’s Gives Back program will feature a different nonprofit each month. On every Sunday during that month, 25% of their axe throwing revenue will go directly to the nonprofit.
The venue said the program not only provides financial support for the nonprofit, but it gives their customers “a chance to have fun while making a difference.”
“They’re an incredible and innovative champion of mental health services for youth and adults,” said Mike Zacek, the general manager at FlannelJax’s.
This nonprofit works to provide critical resources like counseling and life skills training to individuals and families facing crisis.
