Governor Abbot to hold press conference in Beaumont Tuesday [Video]

BEAUMONT, Texas — Governor Greg Abbott will be making his way to Beaumont Tuesday, after receiving briefings, to hold a press conference and provide updates on Tropical Storm Francine.

The Governor will hold press conferences to provide updates on Texas’ preparation efforts ahead of Tropical Storm Francine September 10 in Austin at the State Operations Center, and then in Beaumont at the Beaumont Emergency Operations Center.

The Governor will be joined by Texas Division of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd and other state and local officials.

The press conference at the Beaumont Emergency Operations Center will begin at 3:00 p.m.
