Gov. Mike DeWine has no credibility when he talks about solving gerrymandering [Video]

When it comes to solutions for Ohio gerrymandering, Governor Mike DeWine has no credibility at all. As a member of the committee to draw maps, he voted repeatedly for maps deemed unconstitutional. This resulted in continuation of the super majority the Republicans hold in the Ohio legislature. And now he expects us to accept his “solution” to the gerrymandering mess, which is to involve the legislature in changing how we draw maps.

Is anyone else’s head spinning with the feeling of deja vu? Does he think Ohio voters aren’t paying attention? By offering this “fix”, DeWine strengthened the argument in favor of a constitutional amendment to get politicians out of drawing our voting maps.
