Gov. Hochul announces new “Call Out Hate” campaign [Video]

The goal is to bring awareness to specific communities that help combat hate and bias, and educate on the importance of reporting incidents when they happen.

NEW YORK — Governor Kathy Hochul announced Thursday a new campaign named “Call Out Hate.”

This campaign, a collaboration with the New York State Division of Human Rights’ Hate and Bias Prevention Unit, is designed to educate and support New Yorkers that face discrimination.

The goal is to bring awareness to specific communities that help combat hate and bias, and educate on the importance of reporting incidents when they happen.

Educational events will occur statewide, in addition to campaigns in New York City areas like the subway and the Long Island Railroad.
