Gov. DeWine signs Certificate of Appointment for John Husted [Video]

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTAP) -Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signed a Certificate of Appointment to the U.S. Senate on Sunday for John Husted.

According to a press release from the Office of the Governor, this Certificate of Appointment was signed by Gov. DeWine in Washington D.C. as he was surrounded by members of his family who traveled there for the presidential inauguration.

Husted will assume the office of U.S. Senator when he is officially sworn in and takes the oath of office.
