Google CEO Sundar Pichai Praises Narendra Modi for his AI Vision for India [Video]

After a recent meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai praised his efforts to develop AI in India, strengthening India’s tech and digital projects. “The Prime Minister has been focused on transforming India, with his Digital India vision,” Pichai stated. 

“He pushed us to continue Making in India, Designing in India… He is really thinking about how AI can transform India in a way that benefits the people of India. He’s always challenged us to do more,” he added.

PM Modi recently attended a conference in New York with major tech CEOs in attendance. This meeting reinforces the growing importance of AI in India’s development trajectory, following his earlier statements at an international summit, where he declared, “AI means America and India,” positioning the two nations as key players in the future of AI innovation and collaboration.
