GMB Kate Garraway forced to apologise after Ed Balls outrage | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV [Video]

Kate Garraway was forced to step in and apologise on Good Morning Britain this morning (August 5) as her co-star Ed Balls clashed with show guest MP Zarah Sultana. The conversation became heated as the presenters and the politician discussed the riots that erupted across the UK over the weekend. 

On Sunday, Sir Keir Starmer delivered an emergency press conference from Downing Street, where he doubled down on his cold fury aimed at “far-right thugs” continuing to wreak havoc on Britain’s streets. However, Ms Sultana pointed out that he had failed to call the riots “islamaphobic” or “racist”, while appearing on ITV’s GMB.

Ed replied: “They have called it racist”, while Kate interrupted her saying: “No, no.” She stuttered her words before adding: “Sorry, but we do have to ask you questions as well.”
