Glynn County Police officer jumps from roof to catch suspect [Video]

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A teenager was arrested in Glynn County after a police officer leapt from a neighbor’s roof onto the roof he had climbed up, according to a press release from the Glynn County Police Department.

Eighteen-year-old Jason Middlebrooks was driving a vehicle that was possibly stolen, GCPD said. 

A GCPD officer was patrolling in Brunswick, in the area of Altama Avenue near Publix, when her license plate reader detected the vehicle. 

According to GCPD, Middlebrooks did not stop when she attempted to pull him over. A chase began, reaching speeds up to 90 mph before the vehicle crashed into a telephone pole near Wolfe Street.
