Givaudan officials, city leaders to host public meeting after plant explosion in Louisville | News from WDRB [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — City of Louisville officials and representatives from Givaudan will host a public informational meeting on Monday to address concerns. 

Two men were killed and 11 people were injured during a plant explosion at Givaudan Sense Colour. The explosion damaged homes around the area.

At 6 p.m., a Clifton Neighborhood Meeting is scheduled at United Crescent Hill Ministries on State Street. City and Givaudan officials will attend the meeting to listen to residents and address their concerns.

The explosion was the second in just over two decades at the plant, which has been operated by Switzerland-based Givaudan since 2021.
