This weekend, prepare for fun, screaming, running, and shopping as Anchorage gears up for a festive array of Halloween-themed activities for all ages, ranging from spirited runs to trunk-or-treat events and family-friendly entertainment.

Skinny Raven Halloween Run/Walk

Start your weekend off with the Skinny Raven’s Halloween-themed 4K run/walk.

” it’s really about just getting our active community out and doing something fun, bringing the families out,” said Mark Iverson director of event at Skinny Raven. “And just keeping people active and out and together. “

The course, which starts at the Captain Cook Hotel and heads down Ship Creek Avenue, will also have candy stations along the course and runners or walkers are encouraged to dress in costumes.

“We have some team costume contests and some prizes to go along with that,” said Iverson.

Bib pickup begins at 9:30 AM, with the run starting at 11 AM on Saturday, October 26.
