A gas leak has been detected at a BMW facility in Greer, according to head of corporate communications Nathalie Bauters.Bauters says the leak was detected on Wednesday at one of BMW’s logistics facilities.According to Bauters, the building was evacuated out of precaution and for the safety of its workers. The building is being ventilated, and work is expected to begin soon, Bauters says.According to Bauters, eight associates were taken to the hospital due to light-headiness but no major injuries has been reported.
