GA man, 19, found shot to death in abandoned Macon home, [Video]

MACON, Ga. — A 19-year-old man was found shot to death inside an abandoned home at 4458 Pinedale Dr., according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office says they received the call around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. Bibb County Deputy Coroner Luann Stone says they’re ruling it a homicide.

“Because of the way the scene was with the shell casings and the multiple gunshots, and the position – just where he was at and the crime scene itself – you could tell that it was not a suicide,” Stone said.

When deputies arrived at the 4400 block of Pinedale Drive, they say DeMario Markell Jackson was found inside the abandoned home suffering a gunshot wound.
