Fyre Festival Planner Andy King Is Engaged (Exclusive) [Video]

The event planner — who rose to viral fame in 2019 after appearing in Fyre, Netflix’s Fyre Festival documentary — got engaged on Dec. 4 to his partner of six years, Craig McBlain, at their farm in Hudson Valley, New York, overlooking The Berkshires and Catskill Mountains.

“We just returned from our annual holiday dinner and theater show in the city. We took Cooper, our rescue lab, for his evening hike to the top of the property at our farm. We enjoyed an amazing sunset and Craig pulled out a small bottle of champagne,” King, 63, recalls to PEOPLE. “At that moment we knew it was the right time and we decided we wanted to get married.”
