Funeral to be held for deputy who was killed [Video]

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office finalized the memorial services for Deputy Brandon Cunningham, who was killed in an ambush on Saturday, Aug. 17.Around 6:13 p.m. on Aug. 17, Cunningham was shot and killed after he responded to a domestic dispute on Foggy Creek Lane in Hiram, Georgia, which is within the Harmony Creek subdivision, officials said.Cunningham was shot from inside the home as he exited the patrol vehicle. Cunningham’s partner was not able to provide medical aid as the suspect continued to fire gunshots. A hail of gunfire also prevented additional officers to reach Cunningham as they arrived, deputies stated.The wife of the suspect was attempting to leave the home immediately after Cunningham was shot, when the suspect shot her too.
