HEARTBREAKING tributes are being paid to a young man, aged in his 20s, from Wicklow after his body was discovered on a busy Galway road.
Eric Byrne, who was originally from Monastery Grove in Enniskerry, was discovered on the Headford Road area of Galway on Saturday, September 14.
Gardai are currently investigating “all circumstances” surrounding his death. They are currently awaiting post-mortem results.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai in Galway are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a male (aged in his 20s) in the Headford Road area of the city on Saturday, September 14th, 2024.
“The results of a post mortem examination are awaited. No further information is available at this time.”
