A free workshop on medication safety has been set at Aurora Medical Center, 12500 Aurora Drive, Pleasant Prairie
It will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6. It will be led by Melissa T. Ballak-Moe, PharmD, MBA, BCGP, Clinical Pharmacist II, Pharmacy Integrated Clinical Services.
The workshop is the February event cosponsored by the Kenosha County Association of Home and Community Education. The workshop will be held at the Pleasant Prairie Medical Center Conference Room (located behind the guest desk).
Ballak-Moe will review common classes of medications, and common over-the-counter products that can increase the risk of falls, and varied side effects of these medications.
The program is free and open to the public. Free blood pressure screenings will be available.
