An annual Canaries late-season tradition, Kids Night, will cure the “back to school blues” by featuring a chance for kids to play catch with their friends and family on the field before the game, fireworks after the game, face painting, and giveaways from game sponsor Empower U. Kids will also have a chance to participate in one of the Birds’ several in-game fan contests.
The Birds will wear special “Queen City” jerseys that fans can bid on in a DASH mobile app auction.
The Canaries tout a kid-friendly, family-fun experience for every game, which includes mascots Cagey and Peep, kid-friendly food and desserts, a free Kids Zone playground and bounce house area, and chances for kids to participate in contests throughout the game.
The Kids Night event is part of the playoff-bound Canaries’ final homestand of the regular season, featuring seven games in seven days.
