A new partnership in Rutland County aims to create more learning opportunities for the youngest Vermonters.The Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum in downtown Rutland and Rutland County Head Start are teaming up so all currently-enrolled Head Start and Early Head Start families will get memberships to Wonderfeet, the organizations announced Tuesday.Rutland County Head Start provides programming that combines early childhood education and support services like healthy meals and medical screenings.”Children learn in the context of play and in the context of being engaged in play,” said Donna Barrow, the director of Rutland County Head Start. “And the kind of play opportunities and the spaces where children can imagine and explore really, really match that.
