TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo renters can seek free legal advice during an upcoming housing clinic.
The city said in a press release that legal experts will help Toledo residents by offering advice on lease reviews, rent escrow, housing conditions, landlord concerns and more. The 20-minute appointment slots will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Toledo Lucas County Main Library.
Those attending the clinic should bring a copy of their lease. Registration is now open and closes Oct. 8.
Experts from the city, the Legal Aid of Western Ohio, The Fair Housing Center, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, the Toledo Bar Association and the UToledo Law School Advocacy Clinic will collaborate to provide the services.
