Free community classes announced for Aberdeen residents [Video]

ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Aberdeen area has a number of free classes to choose from for a variety of community organizations.

Whether you just want to keep an active mind or start a new business, there are plenty of free classes in the area that you might consider.

You want to start a business, you say. Well, the director of the Northern State University Innovation and Start-Up Center, Bea Smith, talked about the Center’s mission.

“Encourage and empower tech entrepreneurship in northeast South Dakota. And we do that in a number of ways through our different programming that we do, such as our technology-based workshops, as well as our technology and entrepreneurship summit, which will be coming up on September 18, here on the campus at Northern State University,” Smith said.

Smith went on to describe the topics of the nine remaining free workshops.
