Frederick County emergency services gives tips for emergency preparation kits for Debby [Video]

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — As Tropical Storm Debby draws closer to the DMV it’s essential for everyone to have a plan in case of an emergency, officials said.

Officials with the Frederick County Emergency Services said the best way to do that is to have an emergency preparedness kit ready to go.

“It starts with people having a family plan, and even a personal preparedness kit is really important,” Director of Emergency Management, Anthony Rosano said.

No matter the type of weather event, having a prepared kit and a plan of action to get to safety is your No. 1 priority in any emergency.
