FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ark. — A group opposing the Franklin County prison build is now calling for investigations and terminations connected to the project.
The Franklin County and River Valley Coalition released a press release stating that Attorney Joey Mccutchen accuses officials of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority and a division of the building authority of being deceptive.
Mccutchen told 5NEWS that he wants to see more transparency with the prison project. Mccutchen has previously said the group is prepared to explore legal and legislative options concerning the plan to build the prison.
5NEWS contacted the Arkansas Development Finance Authority for comment, but we have not heard back.
